I have been learning about fashions in South America for about a year. The interest began in 2010, when two granddaughters, ages 5-7 wanted "proper princess gowns Grandma; no D*&^%y doll stuff!" This led first to the Middle Ages, then to 1600s Florence and Venice, thence to SA. The flamenca (Br. Port) gowns are of rich colors. I love to see children in jewel tones. I am setting up for Halloween 2011...
